Fr Yanbo Chen has undertaken to being the devotion to the “Two Hearts” to Carlow Cathedral.

The Alliance of the Two Hearts 1st Friday – 1st Saturday Vigil of Reparation in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary every 1st Friday beginning 1st October.

Below is an outline of the devotion:

• Opens with Mass for the Sacred Heart at 7pm followed by Confession (8pm),
• Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament,
• Rosary,
• offices of the Sacred Heart,
• Benediction (11:45pm).
• Mass for the Immaculate Heart at 12 midnight.

Concludes with office of the Immaculate Heart after Mass. This programme fulfils the 1st Friday and 1st Saturday obligations. Everyone welcome to come to all or part of the vigil.
