Based on feedback, having reviewed the situation in terms of car parking at the Annual St Mary’s Cemetery Mass on Monday, 8th July, 7.30pm, a certain amount of parking will now be facilitated on the grounds of the graveyard for people with disabled parking permits.  *People are asked to keep all single carriageways free and be parked at 7pm, when Cemetary gates will close.*

You will appreciate given expected crowds there are still concerns for people safety with cars and people moving in close proximity on cemetery grounds and this risk must be mitigated as much as possible.   Equally it is important that emergency services have access to the graveyard during celebrations in the event of an unforeseen circumstance.

We would ask all people attending the annual cemetery Mass who do not have an exceptional need to use graveyard parking spaces to please use available spaces and car parks provided.  Car parking will be available at the following locations, until 9pm:

Carlow Town Hurling Club

NUA (Former Braun Factory)

Carlow Youth Centre

Stewarding will be in place at Cemetery on the day.
